Manufacturing Facilities
The Profire Group have extensive manufacturing facilities which allow us to handle all aspects of electrical and mechanical contracts.
Our facility produces all the custom-built mechanical and electrical components for our Fire Protection Systems.
Manufacturing of all items is based on internally designed and produced construction packages.
Fusion Bonded Epoxy Coating
Fusion Bonded Epoxy (FBE) Coating, also known as powder coating, is an epoxy-based powder coating widely used to protect steel pipe, pipe fittings, supports and valves from corrosion.
This form of protective coating is a critical requirement for many of the hazardous areas in which our custom-build components operate.
During the FBE process, the metal surface is cleaned and preheated prior to the epoxy powder being electrostatically applied onto the material.
Once coated, the material is placed into our industrial oven where the powder melts onto the pipe and quickly dries to a uniform and controlled thickness.
Our powder coating booth and industrial oven can accommodate packages up to 8m in length, with cross section dimensions of 2.5m high by 2m wide.
All pipe work, supports and profiled steel can be powder coated to your choice of RAL / BS colours.
